A striking pair of fauteuil-style armchairs with hand-carved wood frames in a warm, antiqued finish. Fluted arms, reeded tapered legs, and refined leaf-and-dart carving lend classic French neoclassical character, while the bold leopard-print chenille upholstery and brass nailhead trim bring a glamorous, of-the-moment update. Provenance: Purchased from the Pacific Design Center, Los Angeles, circa 1996.

Condition: Excellent — a few minor surface scuffs to the wood frame consistent with light use (see photos). Upholstery clean, no stains or tears.
