This lovely Chateau d’ax spa chair has been restored and reupholstered in a classic Pimpernel print by Willaim Morris. William Morris was an artist that created wallpaper and fabric designs in the mid 1800's making it a perfect choice for this classic chair. This Italian chair has beautiful floral carvings on the back, along the base of the seat, and at the top of the cabriole legs. The chair is well built and sturdy, while maintaining a delicate appearance, a perfect combination. The seat height is a comfortable 21 inches, unique to vintage chairs that typically sit low to the ground. Padding and foam has all been replaced as part of the restoration process. This chair would make a lovely addition to any home.
