An exceptional vintage metal tole floral arrangement featuring elegant white narcissus blooms rising from realistic sculpted bulbs and exposed roots in a beautifully constructed decorative tole metal basket planter. This substantial piece showcases remarkable craftsmanship with individually hand-shaped flowers, embossed petals, hand-bent stems, and hand-soldered construction throughout.
The arrangement features dozens of delicate white narcissus blossoms with yellow centers, complemented by long painted green leaves emerging from three sculpted bulbs nestled in preserved moss. The decorative basket is equally impressive, with hand-formed hammered panels accented by twisted rope edging and graceful looped handles.
Although unmarked, the quality of construction, weight, and hand-finished details strongly suggest European craftsmanship and are consistent with fine Italian tole work of the mid-20th century. The arrangement was acquired from the original owner’s daughter, who stated it had belonged to her mother, supporting its vintage provenance.
