This elegant tapered vase features an intricate all-over decoration of stylized flowers, foliage, berries, and botanical motifs executed in vibrant shades of cobalt blue, green, yellow, pink, purple, and black against a warm buff-colored glazed ground. Bold geometric borders in black and rose frame both the rim and foot, lending a striking architectural quality to the design.

The central cobalt blue flower anchors the composition, while the incised decoration beneath the glaze adds remarkable depth and texture. The lively palette and flowing naturalistic ornament are characteristic of the innovative decorative ceramics produced by the Massier workshops in Vallauris during the Art Nouveau period.
