A French Baroque style giltwood mirror with cartouche shape framed by undulating borders. Hand-carved solid wood with gilded finish. Featuring a distinctive open loop shell motif at the top, outward stretching acanthus leaves on the sides and downward pointing floral pod or scroll element at the bottom. Original mirror with beautiful old silvered patina. Circa 1920-1930.
