Italian art glass footed bowl or vase produced in Empoli, a region known for its mid-century glassmaking. The distinctive avocado or olive green color with an "optic" effect, created by molding the glass to have internal vertical ribs or panels. The bowl is elevated on a pedestal stem, and similar pieces are often described as compotes or brandy snifter vase. Pontil noticeable on bottom and a small air bubble or two which appears during the process.
No chips or cracks.
