The finish of the frames has scattered surface scratches, scuffs, nicks, finish wear, patina variations in finish color throughout the frames and old varnish drip marks in areas. There are visible old joint repairs (possible filler/adhesive residue/darkened nail head exposed on the side of an arm support possibly associated with an earlier repair) and minor loss of wood at one of the joints (see last 2 photos). There are small separations at the joinery consistent with age. The original green upholstery and foam are serviceable as is, however, the foam shows slight compression and the edges of the fabric are wrinkled in some areas so they would benefit from new upholstery for those reasons. I am happy to send more photos or video if needed and to answer any questions you may have prior to purchase. less
