The front displays a detailed composition of court figures, cranes, garden architecture, floral borders, and gilt accents across six hinged panels. The reverse side has gold-tone linework of birds, flowering branches, and rock formations. The screen has a lacquered surface, incised-style decoration, painted details, and raised panel feet.
