Mid-century/space age style, featuring a rounded square "television" shape, typical of the era. The outer casing is made of two-tone white and yellow glazed ceramic, with gold-plated geometric hour markers applied to the dial. The round gold-plated brass band features an opening mechanism for easy cleaning and to set the time when the battery runs out. Each piece bears its own production number on the back. In the late 1960s, peter electric converted its electric clocks to quartz, with the now-familiar movement. The clock is in very good condition and works perfectly. There are some imperceptible crazing on the dial due to age, and a microscopic scratch on the base (see last photo with highlighted detail).
