An incredible collection of five hand-carved stone miniature architectural studies. These pieces showcase early and late Gothic architectural elements, such as pointed arches, vaulting, and interlaced tracery. The artist meticulously carved each piece of marble, a material that allows for fine, delicate detail while remaining strong enough for deep carving.
The pieces are signed "P.J.C" and dated 1912. Sizes range from 1.5"x1.75"x2"H to 2"x2"x3.5"H.
