The density of shell illustrations glows with a gilded luster against the satin black paint that covers the table frame. Enhancing the linear poles are thin pinstripes of gold paint to imply the nodes of real bamboo. A top surface and lower shelf provide generous surface area to set drinks and create interesting displays; the unique scale would be at home in a variety of seating arrangements (and decorating styles). We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
