The chairs are crafted with an oval medallion cameo back set within a bent rattan pole frame having a caned back. Gently scrolled rattan arms curve down to the seat rail, and the gracefully curved legs are joined by a box stretcher. The bespoke chairs crafted from bent pole rattan frames are finished with an optional intentionally distressed craquelure lacquer custom finish from McGuire. The rattan is lashed together with leather rawhide laced joinery. The seats and backs are finished in a meticulously woven cane. The chairs are finished with a vintage two-tone teal and turquoise fabric in a geometric diamond-and-trellis pattern adorning the back cushion and the loose seat cushion. While being vintage the fabric still shows well and is presentable. The rattan frames are sturdy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship in exceptional condition as seen in photos. Crafted in a distinct organic modern California Coastal style, the chairs are well-suited for a variety of interiors. McGuire maker's plaques are present under the seat. Arms of the chairs measure 22.5" tall. Sold as a set of ten. From a dry, non-humid California estate in the Napa Valley.
