Beautifully hand-painted details along with small wooden stems add to the realism of each piece. Carved from alabaster and popular in the 19th and mid-20th centuries, this set includes 3 apples, 2 pears, 2 peaches, 1 lemon, and 1 fig. In very good condition considering age and history. Zoom in on photos to see any imperfections including some wear, such as polychrome paint loss, a small chip on one of the peaches, and stems absent on 3 fruits and broken or short on 3. These imperfections attest to their age and, as the photos show, do not detract from their beauty. See less
