An example of mid-century American silverplate, this Sheets-Rockford Silver Plate Co. pedestal flower bowl features a traditional design with a classic gadrooned rim and graceful raised pedestal foot. Originally intended as a floating flower bowl, it also makes a stunning centerpiece for fruit, seasonal arrangements, or decorative objects.
The traditional silhouette allows this piece to complement interiors ranging from classic and traditional to transitional and modern. Crafted by the respected Illinois silversmith, the underside bears the Sheets-Rockford Silver Plate Co. hallmark and pattern number 1592, dating the piece to the company’s later production period after its 1925 reorganization.

Some like the aged vintage look, so we choose to leave the patina. less
