Dating to the 1920s–1930s, the frame features an elegant, restrained profile accented by finely modeled foliate corner ornament and a beautifully aged original gilt surface displaying rich patina and desirable craquelure. Its generous 50 3/8 by 70 5/8 inch rabbet opening makes it an increasingly uncommon find, ideally suited for a substantial painting, oversized photograph, or custom mirror in both residential and commercial interiors. The frame may be displayed either vertically or horizontally.
