The chair features a tall architectural back with a shaped crest, elaborate carved scrollwork, foliate ornament, and a central upholstered leather panel with decorative gilt crest detail.
The arms are boldly carved with scrolling supports and figural or mask-like terminals, continuing into a richly detailed seat rail and cabriole-style legs joined by a carved stretcher. The dark leather seat and back are finished with nailhead trim, adding contrast to the warm carved walnut frame.
