An elegant set of six authentic McGuire San Francisco dining armchairs featuring the company’s iconic diamond lattice backs and exceptional handcrafted construction.
Expertly crafted from McGuire’s signature stained rattan with hand-lashed rawhide bindings, these chairs exemplify the organic luxury and timeless design that have made McGuire one of America’s most respected furniture makers. The sculptural diamond lattice backs—often referred to by collectors as the “Cracked Ice” pattern—create visual interest from every angle while maintaining an airy, sophisticated profile.
The textured ivory upholstery complements the rich espresso-toned rattan beautifully and presents exceptionally well, offering a clean, tailored appearance with no visible staining. Comfortable and versatile, these chairs are equally at home in coastal, organic modern, Palm Beach Regency, British Colonial, traditional, and contemporary interiors.
Each chair retains its original McGuire brass identification plaque, with one chair also retaining its original factory upholstery tag—a desirable detail for collectors.
A beautifully preserved matching set that is becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition.
