Offered for sale is a mid-20th century Japanese porcelain Imari bowl with scalloped edges. The edges are gilt, and the outside body has decorative alternating floral designs that contrast panels of single potted plants with a single flower on each. The interior of the bowl is completely decorated with an overall floral design again, with panels of single plants and flowers. The bowl is presented upon a black carved wood base with scrolled legs.
