Lovely pale colors that go anywhere in any room. It was in our NY apartment but our farmhouse in NJ is too small for this lovely rug.
It washes very well.
Please note: Strié is made by weaving different color threads in a random way. This pattern is made with yellow, white threads and marine blue 1” stripe.
There are some lighter areas where the white thread is woven, they are hardly noticeable. Also, two small rust stains in the front of the rug. (please look at the pictures) The reverse side of the rug has a couple minor stains that do not through to the front side of the rug. It is not something that takes anything away from this beautiful rug. I have taken that in consideration in the price.

Sorry about the large picture. I took it outside on top of a step ladder. The true color is depicted in the small pictures. However, the rug does look lighter and darker according to the light in the room. I wish I could have taken more pictures, but I could not find a good place or light to take better pictures.
