Likely English / British market, from a cart or kiosk vendor in some wonderful place like Covent Garden or Marble Arch. Maybe Ascot? Portobello Road? The possibilities are endless and they all capture the imagination!

Red finished with champagne gold gilt hand detailing. Two built in handholds on the sides for transport while hot and in use.

Designed to hold hot water inside, with hot dogs / sausages / brats on an inner shelf to stay warm and ready for sale.

Open hinged top with an insert shelf - bottom section is designed for heat release to allow air to circulate.

16" tall by 14" wide by 9.5" deep.

Entirely original condition and still very crisp and bright.
