Found in a 1970’s estate near New Orleans, this mid-century decorative porcelain bowl features a vibrant, hand-painted lotus pond scene on the exterior and striking imperial red dragons along the interior rim.
This piece is beautifully finished with a subtle, intentional crackle/crazing glaze that gives it a sophisticated, antique
aesthetic. It sits perfectly on its included, custom-fitted dark wood Ming-style footed stand.
The porcelain blank was produced in Japan with the painted scene done in Hong Kong according to the mark on the bottom.
The height of the bowl without the stand is 4.75”.
