Weller Art Pottery made it Blue Drapery ceramics during the heart of the Art Nouveau Period and just before WWI. These two vases are fine exemplars. The ground of the vases is a three dimensional drape pattern onto which there are applied trails of falling pink roses. The finished effect is striking. Both are in excellent condition and both are signed "WELLER", en bas. The rectangular vase is 6.75: tall and has a mouth opening of 3.75" x 3". The cylindrical vase is slightly shorter, at 6.5" tall, having a mouth opening of 3.25" in diameter. Weller made these vases in Gainsville, OH, USA.
