Traditionally this form of chair was referred to as Hunting Chairs as they would fold and were more easily transported. This pair is mostly decorative as a 20th century example made from Elmwood and Brass as older examples with coveted Huanghuali can sell for upwards of a million dollars.

Condition: Good condition with general age wear.
