This is a handsome vintage early American or colonial revival style cherry dresser that was made in the United States by Vaughan Furniture Company. It is similar in style to cherry dressers by Bob Timberlake for Lexington.
The dresser is made of cherry wood with 11 drawers, including 2 hidden drawers behind the central paneled door. The antique bronze fnish drawer pulls and knobs are original. The dresser is mounted on bracket feet with a shaped apron on three sides. Signed Vaughan on the back. Made in USA.
The 1990s era dresser is in good used condition. The dresser is very solid, and all 11 drawers slide freely. There are scratches on the top and what looks like tape residue. Scattered scuffs and wear on the drawers from normal use. Please see photos for more details about the condition of the dresser.
The dresser measures 58” wide, 18” deep, and 38.25” tall.
