FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL US! This is an ornate antique picture frame. Late 19th century. Dark gilt wood and gesso. Measures 27" x 33" and has a rabbet opening (measured from the back) of 22 1/4" x 28 1/4". Hang it vertically or horizontally. Perfect for that special portrait, painting, print, or to make into a mirror.
Condition: Please keep in mind that this is an antique frame that is over 125 years old. It is in overall good condition for its age. Looks like to was repainted a long time ago. Although it is not perfect, I do not see any obvious cracks or losses of note to the frame. You'll see spaced out holes in the next to last photo. In the Victorian era, picture frames were hung on the wall using cords that would have been strung through these holes.
