Design Plus Gallery presents a Black Shagreen + Bronze Side Table from Ria and Yiouri Augousti. The table offers a luxury stingray wrap around the front panel with its drawer and on its oval tabletop. The cast bronze is shaped uniquely with handles that raise above the surface and stand on four tapered legs. This Paris-based luxury design maison of R & Y is internationally celebrated for its Art Deco-inspired furniture, home accessories, and handbags. They were founded in 1989 by the husband-and-wife duo Ria and Yiouri Augousti, the brand is a pioneer in reviving artisanal techniques, specifically the use of shagreen (stingray skin) paired with other exotic, organic finishes. These tables are in good condition with brand stamp on their undercarriage. Made in France.
