This lovely Trinket Box is made of porcelain. This beautiful piece is stamped as being made by Giraud in Limoges, France, see pictures. The back stamp indicates this piece was made in the mid-twentieth century. It features a gorgeous hand-painted Chinoiserie theme on the lid which depicts a man fishing in a colorway of red and orange with gold detailing, against the glossy white porcelain of the rest of the lid and base. This darling trinket / jewelry box would be perfect to display with your vintage porcelain collection or atop a vanity as a lovely and functional organization accessory.
The measurements are: height with lid=1.5" diameter=4" approx.
