Swedish mid century modern upholstered dining chairs, made by Skaraborgs c. 1960s and imported by Scandiline of Southern California. The frames are built from solid walnut, with subtly rounded edges and a gently curved back softening the angular design.
Plush upholstered seats float within the frame, connected to the legs of the chair from the inside with hidden hardware. Cushioned seatbacks offer additional comfort while exposed burlap on the chair’s back side adds a touch of rusticity to an otherwise perfectly understated Scandinavian design.
Lightly refinished and fully reupholstered, with new high density foam wrapped in a heathered moss and lichen boucle.
