Step into history with this rare vintage double-faced railway clock by telenorma, a genuine timepiece from the 1950s german railway stations. Once part of a central timekeeping system, this iconic clock used to synchronize train schedules with utmost precision. Fully restored and refinished, it’s ready to bring industrial elegance to your home or business.
restoration process:
this clock saw decades of wear before being meticulously restored. The metal body has been completely stripped from paint and got a fresh satin black finish. We've added new acrylic glass covers and redesigned the light-transmitting white dial face.
we mounted two high torque quartz clock mechanisms with handmade clock hands that match the original ones. It works on 2 batteries in total (not included).
originally it was a tl light-up clock, we've modernized it by adding a led-strip inside. Adjustable in brightness, you can pick your own colors, and you can even activate different disco/blinking programs. It comes with a remote control.
design and functionality:
its double-sided design allows for time to be read from both directions, ideal for large open spaces such as lofts, industrial-themed restaurants, or shops. With its impressive size and striking presence, this clock is both a functional and decorative statement piece. It has a door so you can easily switch batteries. Ceiling mount is included.
