This is a beautiful vintage Chinoiserie 3 drawer desk. It has hand painted Asian detailing all the way around so it can be floated in a room. The top is green leather. It is signed in gold paint R Davis. This is likely a homage to the 18th century jappaner from Boston Robert Davis. The desk has ormolu at the feet and French handles. The desk is solid and the painting is clear. Some wear to the black edges. The leather is intact but shows some wear. Overall a beautiful piece.
Condition: No breaks or missing pieces. Some edge wear on the black background. Light wear to the leather from age. Patina to the ormolu.
