Produced in northeastern France, Longwy faïence is celebrated for its richly enameled decoration and expressive use of color. This set of four plates features a creamy blush ground adorned with raised enamel cherries and blossoms accented by green foliage, a naturalistic motif closely associated with the Art Nouveau period.
The diameter is 9" and the 7/8'" height makes a shallow well on each plate.
