Offered is for a rare Hukin & Heath Victorian silver plated strawberry form egg coddler.
Designed in the naturalistic style with removable burner and egg holder.
8 1.2" high x 5 1/3" width at base. 720g (Plated)
Hallmarked 'H&H' and stamped with the the model # 10765.
Very good estate found condition with no repairs, monogram or engravings. Minor tarnish.
Hukin & Heath was a highly influential British manufacturing silversmith and electroplating firm based in Birmingham and London, active from 1855 to 1953. They are best known for their late 19th-century collaboration with the pioneering industrial designer Dr. Christopher Dresser.
