Benjamin Rabier (1864-1939), was a French children’s author, playwright, animator, illustrator, and comic book artist. He became famous for his cartoons for the ‘Laughing Cow’ brand and the character Gédéon the duck.

The plate is titled ‘Téter s’il vous plait – le gosse-vous permettez? J’ai n’im et et ma nourrice est occupee!
