This authentic Spanish piece was first issued in 1974 and officially retired in 1993. The sculpture beautifully depicts a young farm girl wearing a long grey dress and a traditional headscarf. She is protectively cradling a large white goose in her arms while a small, playful brown-and-white puppy eagerly jumps up against her skirt.
