Elegant small mahogany desk from the 19th century in England.
This beautiful desk features two drawers in the apron. The rectangular top is decorated with a stringing of precious wood. The same stringing is found on the drawers.
The desk rests on a very attractive base with turned legs.
It is covered in beautiful green leather with a superb patina and a Directoire-style decoration with gilt tooling. This is the original leather, which has a lovely patina.
The drawer interiors are made of mahogany, a mark of quality.
In perfect condition with a superb patina.
The height below the apron is 64 cm, allowing for comfortable seating.
