This impressive 1-piece decorative porcelain box is a refined example of French luxury craftsmanship, combining romantic painted detail, vivid color, and elegant Rococo Revival influence.
The lid features a beautifully painted 18th-century-style gallant scene, showing two women and a gentleman in a lush landscape setting. The painting is artist-signed and rendered with delicate brushwork, soft color, and fine detail, giving the box a highly decorative and collectible character.
The body is finished in classic Sèvres cobalt blue and enhanced with raised gilt foliage, scrollwork, and ornamental accents.
