Beautiful antique tiger oak library table made by Bailey, Jones & Co. of Jamestown, New York, a historic furniture maker from the early 1900s.
This is a solid, well-built piece with beautiful quarter-sawn “tiger oak” grain, fluted column legs, a lower display shelf and one drawer. It still has its original stamped brass drawer hardware and original brass-and-wood casters.
The legs and lower shelf retain their original finish and patina. The top has been carefully refinished and color-matched to blend with the original finish, making it both beautiful and ready to use.
This would make a wonderful writing desk, library table, entryway table, sofa table or statement piece in a vintage, traditional, farmhouse or historic home.
