Samuel Weller was the founder of Weller Pottery in Zanesville Ohio. It became the world's largest company of the Arts & Crafts. Art Nouveau, Art Deco & Modernism movements. Weller produced pottery from 1872 through 1948.
The Loru line was produced for only a short time so it is scarce and hard to find. It is known for its clean lines, ribbed body & ruffled rim. Clusters of leaves sit atop the stepped foot.
Marked with the incise Weller script.
