Fine white porcelain with all hand painted decoration in the Dresden style traditions
Two different romantic courting scenes in the center with lady and gentleman in a lush garden settings. The girl is playing a mandolin in one of the scenes
The borders of the plates are simply amazing, Reticulated lace like design with encrusted flowers and gilt highlights
Very exquisite work with great attention to the details
Clearly marked at the base with the Crossed swards used by Coalport Porcelain Works, Shropshire, UK on some decorative, flower encrusted, Dresden/Meissen style porcelain during the 1820-1830's period
Measurements: Approx. 8.5" diameter
Weigh about 1 lb. 6 oz. both
