Antique pewter figural candle snuffer depicting a young bonneted girl traditionally associated with Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved “The Little Match Girl.”
This charming miniature figure stands approximately 4 inches tall and features detailed period dress, bonnet, and apron styling.
Crafted in pewter with attractive aged patina and hollow cast construction consistent with antique metalwork.
Often misidentified simply as a silver-tone figurine or incorrectly described as Mary Gregory style, this piece is a collectible Little Match Girl pewter candle accessory / figural snuffer.
