Dramatic trumpet form uplight of tessellated stone with brass pinstripe trim, on stepped circular base. Art Deco Revival style circa 1980s by Maitland Smith - the lamp accepts a standard size screw in bulb and is in original, clean and working condition. The interior of the top is lined with a segmented reflective metal surface to enhance the light. Please see images. This example operated with an on line on/off foot switch, the lower back bottom edge has an inconsequential loss of tessellated stone surface. Fabulous and glamorous, chic, and sophisticated lamp from well respected maker.
