A sophisticated contemporary writing desk by Lillian August for Hickory White. The desk features a faux shagreen-clad case in a soft parchment tone, accented by a sleek black metal base that creates a striking contrast between texture and form. Three concealed drawers provide practical storage while maintaining the desk's clean, minimalist silhouette.
The faux shagreen surface displays a subtle geometric pattern and texture inspired by traditional stingray skin, lending depth and visual interest without overwhelming the design. Elevated on a slender metal frame, the desk feels light and architectural, making it equally suited for a home office, bedroom, or dressing area.
