Very little is known about Taylor Cook as a manufacturer compared with larger firms such as Hubley Manufacturing Company or Bradley & Hubbard. What makes Taylor Cook doorstops distinctive is that they appear to have been produced as a small, limited series around 1930, making them much scarcer than doorstops from the major manufacturers. They are highly imaginative designs compared with more traditional floral and figural doorstops.
This Dachshund has its original vibrant and decorative blue and green paint in very good condition. See less
