Large hand-blown Murano glass pear features a green "sommerso" core suspended within a clear amber body and transparent leaf.
The piece uses the Italian sommerso ("submerged") technique to create layered colors within the glass.
It bears strong similarities to vintage glass fruit produced by Salviati.
