From Tiffany & Company, a large, custom 1899 silver-soldered center bowl in a footed tureen shape. Measures an impressive 14" from handle to handle, 8.125" wide and 6.125 tall.
Tiffany studio hand-engraving on one side adds to the charm. The base is also hand-engraved with the date "April 15 - 1899".
This is in amazing condition for its 126 years. The only notable silver loss is inside, from 100+ years of use as a tureen and for floral arrangements, as I have. This weighs about 5 pounds and is substantial enough to anchor large arrangements of seasonal flowers and holiday greens.
