Offered is a vintage Arabia Finland Kalevala plate, featuring a brown flower design designed by Anja Jaatinen-Winqvist in the 1970s.The platter is made of stoneware and is often found signed by the artist in the Arabia Atelje department.
Arabia Finland pieces marked with the initials R S most likely refer to designer Raija Uosikkinen, whose painted initials often appear alongside a designer's signature on vintage hand-decorated stoneware and porcelain lines from the 1950s and 1960s.
