this daisy design is quite distinct from all other mid-century designs created by figgjo and others. A stylized daisy was chosen as the centrally prominent and only floral motif. Ironically, the daisy is the national flower of the scandinavian neighbor denmark.
furthermore, a beautiful deep blue background color was chosen, while almost all other series had a decor against a standard white background. This combination makes daisy one of the most collectible modern norwegian tableware series from the mid-century
the fantastic decor was designed by turi gramstad oliver.
stamped on the bottom with turi design, daisy, made in norway and the figgjo flint (f/f) logo. The saucer is stamped figgjo flint, the (f/f) logo *norway. It seems that the dish can also be used for other tableware lines.
