Each plate is completely hand-painted under glaze, showcasing lush clusters of deep red apples and rich green foliage on a warm cream background. The design is framed beautifully by a distinct, sponge-brushed red rim. Because every piece was individually decorated by local artisans in the Tennessee mountains, no two plates are exactly alike, giving this set an authentic, one-of-a-kind heirloom charm.

The undersides clearly display the authentic maker's hallmark featuring the iconic pine tree and mountain graphic, reading: "Hand Painted - Underglaze, Blue Ridge, Southern Potteries, Inc., Made in U.S.A." accompanied by the shape/mold code 12D.
