A sculptural vintage rattan dining set comprising four swivel dining chairs and a matching glass-top table. Crafted from richly toned rattan with woven back panels, the set showcases the natural materials and flowing forms that have made vintage rattan increasingly sought after by designers and collectors.

Each chair features a graceful loop-form back, woven rattan panel, and smooth swivel mechanism supported by a distinctive circular stretcher base. The matching table echoes the same design language, with curved rattan supports rising beneath a round glass top. The warm honey-toned finish adds texture and visual warmth while the airy construction keeps the set feeling light and inviting. Well suited for a breakfast room, sunroom, covered porch, or casual dining space, it works equally well with organic modern, coastal, Palm Beach, and transitional interiors.

JUNE'S THOUGHTS
What drew me to this set immediately was the design of the chairs. The sweeping loop backs and circular bases give them a sculptural quality that feels far more custom than most vintage rattan furniture. Every designer who has walked through my warehouse has stopped to look at them.
I also happen to like the original yellow upholstery. It gives the set a cheerful, sunny personality and reminds me of the optimism of the period. That said, the frames are strong enough visually that a future owner could easily recover the seats in linen, performance fabric, leather, or virtually any color palette and create an entirely different look. I find myself responding most to the way the curves of the chairs echo the rings and supports of the table base. It's a thoughtful design that feels collected rather than manufactured.
