The form draws from the curule and Savonarola lineage—hand-forged curves sweeping into an X-base, anchored by floral rosettes and resting on petite, paw-like feet. A band of thick cognac leather shapes the backrest, secured with brass fasteners; below, a suspended leather sling forms a gently bowed seat that softens the chair’s profile. The gold-leaf surface is warm, textured, and unmistakably crafted by hand. An elegant accent on its own or styled as an occasional chair. Sold and priced individually. Condition: Great vintage condition. The gold-leafed iron frame shows subtle variations consistent with hand-applied leaf and age. Leather seat and backrest are in very good condition with minor creasing and small natural marks. Structurally sound and sturdy. See less
